Privacy Policy for Auction detector
This extension collects certain data to function as intended. Here's a summary of what we collect, why, and how it's handled.
What We Collect
- DOM Snapshots: The HTML content of the active tab’s webpage, captured when a specific condition is met.
- Network Request Data: Request bodies (raw or decoded) of HTTP(S) requests made by the page within a few seconds of the DOM capture.
- Browser Console: The extension collects console logs only while it's actively used on the Edge Pipeline platform to further verify users win condition
Why We Collect It
This data is sent to our server to analyze the state of the webpage and related network activity at a specific moment. This is used to verify if user truly won the auction or not.
How We Handle Your Data
- Data is only collected when the extension actively triggers a capture(not passively in the background), capturing logic is defined differently on every platform.
- We do not store or share your data with third parties unless required by law.
- Data transmission is encrypted and stored securely.
- Data is deleted after verification passes on the server and after receiving approval from the business account about user winning the auction,
if for any reason verification is not successful on the server data will still be deleted after 72 hours,
but if server verifies user win and server is waiting for business clients approval data will remain for another week(168 hours).
So data lifecycle on server cannot be longer than 240 hours.
Permissions
The extension uses the following Chrome permissions:
